Rising Scholars Collective empowers students and families by bridging early access to college and informed educational choices, with a focus on neurodivergent students and their families. By guiding students from middle school through college dual enrollment programs, including a specialized pre-medicine track, it equips them with the academic foundation and confidence to succeed in higher education because there currently exists gaps in the traditional education systems, especially for twice exceptional (gifted and disabled), neurodivergent, underserved and would-be first generation college students.
Through partnerships with school districts, Rising Scholars Collective also educates parents to become effective learning coaches in English and Spanish and annually hosts a regional School Choice Fair to help families and access the best educational opportunities for their child in Middle Georgia as a part of its family advocacy mission.
By equipping students with transferable college credits and foundational skills before high school graduation, the program shortens the time and cost to earn a degree or credential, increasing odds of student matriculation to colleges and universities. Additionally, it partners with schools and communities to provide career exploration, mentoring, and readiness tools that connect academic achievement with real-world workplace opportunities.
